Erreur lors de l'accès au propriétés du bureau !

Bonjour,
je suis sous mac 10.4 à jour,
lorsque je vais dans les préférence système, tout fonctionne sauf l'icone bureau et fond d'ecran...
j'ai un message d'erreur :
"l'application Pr"f"rence systeme a quitté inopinément".
C'est toujours le cas si je relance ou si je reboot l'ordi.

Tente de supprimer le fichier préférence suivant : com.apple.desktop.plist

super sympa, merci ça fonctionne en supprimant le fichier cité, nous n'avions rien installé de nouveau comme écran de veille ou assimilé précédemment.
