Y aurait-il un moyen de modifier l'url du dossier de sauvegarde des chats par défaut ?
J'ai cherché dans les fichiers .plist et .strings mais je n'ai pas trouvé...

peut être ça ...
I realised today however, that my iChat conversations have not been saved since the move. iChat (AV beta) does not let you specify the folder you want to save in, it is always a folder called "iChats" in /Users/Documents/. Even if you have an alias to another folder called documents, iChat seemingly cannot find the folder, and therefore doesn't save the chats (it doesn't even tell you this is the case).

My first attempt at a solution was to go back to the way Apple had it originally - a REAL documents folder with an alias to EVERY folder Ihad in there stored on my Storage partition - a very inelegant solution. The iChat folder must be a real folder inside /Users/myname/Documents/. This makes for a real problem backing up (I must now backup from both the boot drive AND the storage drive).

I wonder if this is related to the quote from: "The Good, the Bad, and the Avie" where they talk about Avie Tevanian recommending: "the use of hard-coded pathname APIs for accessing files, rather than more flexible, friendly, and traditional Mac APIs which access files by file ID. "

I then decided to try with a symbolic link - after all, the system is supposed to treat such a link as if it were a real folder. And finally I managed to get it to work. By using a "ln -s ...." in the terminal I could replace my finder created alias with a symbolic link for my Documents folder, and lo and behold it all worked. Yet when I get info on my link in the finder it shows it as an Alias.
